Your Life Is Like An Airplane Flight...

Does this sound familiar?

  • You’re uncertain on "how you're doing" financially and if you're on track to reach your goals.
  • You saved and accumulated well, but are not sure how to approach the transition to retirement.
  • You have no idea where you stand compared to your peers financially.
  • You feel like you could be doing more with your money but don’t know where to start.
  • You paid high fees with little value in return for financial services.
  • You received incorrect or bad advice.
  • You listened to complex financial jargon that leaves you confused and you weren't sure what questions to ask.
  • You experienced working with previous financial advisor(s) with limited services...I have tax, business or estate questions that my advisor “won’t answer”.
  • You’ve been sold products for commissions, not in your best interest.

If any of this resonates, you’re not alone.

And I’m here to change that by providing real value, transparency, and financial education.

Navigating Financial Noise

Between social media, family, friends, and the lack of personal finance education in schools - everyone has an opinion on money. But most of that noise isn’t tailored to you. Your situation, your goals, your future—that’s what matters.

The Financial Takeoff

Your financial life is like an airplane flight…let me explain my thought process on this.

👩‍✈️ Boarding The Flight & Safety Demonstration: This is your childhood. You’re forming your mindset on finances based on the people around and are first learning what money is.

👨‍✈️ Taxi: This is your young adulthood. You’re working your first jobs, learning what money can buy you and the power of saving. You’re also determining what steps you may take after high school.

🛫‍ Takeoff & Departure: This is entering adulthood. Now you’re in charge of your finances, scary right! Income and assets begin to grow and you begin achieving early life goals.

✈️  Climb & Ascent: This is where you’re establishing your career. Income and assets continue to grow. You’re “establishing” yourself in a career with some assets built up to create a financial “cushion” should something happen.

✈️  Cruise: This is where you’ve established your career and “settled down” some. You’ve achieved some goals and may not be “chasing” a better career. You value your time more than money, time with family, friends, traveling and doing other things you enjoy. Growing your income means less. You probably have a social media bio that would say “I love my work-life balance”.

🛬 Descent: This is where you’ve taken the leap to retire or at least achieved financial independence and work is optional. You may begin to spend down your assets to achieve goals or replace lost income.

🛬 Approach: This is where your health starts declining. You’re still utilizing your assets to achieve goals or replace lost income, but aren’t physically able to do as much.

👩‍✈️👨‍✈️ Landing & Taxi To Gate: This is where health professionals and loved ones care for you. You’ve lived a wonderful life, accomplishing many of your goals and want to make sure you leave a lasting legacy.

And just like a real flight, you need the right crew:

👨‍✈️ A Pilot (Your Financial Advisor) to guide your path.
🛎 Flight Attendants (Your CPA, Attorney, & Other Professionals) to provide support and guidance.

There will be turbulence—market downturns, tax changes, unexpected life events. But with the right team, you can stay on course with confidence.

What Caught My Eye

Stanley Cups have exploded in popularity. While I don't own one myself, many around me do and they love them. However, they aren't cheap with a California woman who was arrested for allegedly stealing 65 Stanley Cups!

“Understanding what is true is essential for success, and being radically transparent about everything, including mistakes and weaknesses, helps create the understanding that leads to improvements.” - Ray Dalio
